A corporate client approached us with the challenge of combining their annual conference with their staff Christmas party for 120 pax. They wanted a seamless transition between the two events, ensuring both professional engagement and festive celebration. Additionally, the venue needed to be close to their headquarters for convenience, and they sought an interactive Team Building activity that would encourage staff collaboration and connection.

Bringing the Magic to Life

Venue Selection
We sourced the stylish Thomas Prior Hall at the Clayton Hotel Merrion Rd. The client was very happy with this choice as her preference was a venue with character rather than a standard hotel ballroom. There was however one small issue with this hotel, there was no obvious space to host the pre-dinner drinks reception for 120 guests.
With further site visits we decided to use the rear of the hotel restaurant, bring on, operation transformation!!
The Challenge


Conference & Engagement
We delivered a dynamic and impactful event, curating a program that seamlessly blended inspiration, collaboration, and entertainment. The day began with a morning conference featuring a renowned motivational speaker, setting a tone of encouragement and reflection. Employees then participated in The Bigger Picture, a creative team-building activity where teams worked together to produce a unique artwork symbolising unity and collaboration.
Evening Theme – A ROCKIN CHRISTMAS
The venue was meticulously designed to reflect the Rock Legend theme, offering a vibrant and immersive atmosphere. The room transformation began with a full pipe n drape of the entire space, pewter & black to tie in with the table clothes and stage décor. With imposing giant black & white images of Rock Legends around the room.
Guests enjoyed a refined dining experience, enhanced by live piano music that later transitioned into an energetic DJ set. The evening concluded with Fun Casino entertainment, featuring our LED casino tables that added a lively and engaging element to the event.

The Result
The event was a resounding success, delivering a memorable experience for employees. The combination of professionalism and expertise, high-quality execution, and attention to detail left attendees feeling valued and energised. The event reinforced the client’s commitment to develop a collaborative and rewarding workplace culture.
