Hertz Ireland employ over 500 culturally diverse staff at their Irish base in Dublin. They approached Fusion Events to implement a broad themed event that would appeal to the wider staff base and facilitate engagement and interaction regardless of staff schedules. The location would be the client’s premises, having a large green area at their disposal.

To reflect the client’s diversity, we created an event with varied elements – energetic and chilled, team based and ambient – under a Beach Party theme. With two sessions, an afternoon of activity and an evening of entertainment, we covered all touchpoints and appealed to all tastes. The first session was informal team building, comprised of an old school sports day, fun inflatable activities, garden games and giant inflatable volleyball. A salsa class guaranteed a stimulating transition into the second session. We then staged live music from an animated 90s classics band and close up comedy from an interactive magician. A first-rate DJ finalised the line-up. Décor included festival flags, bunting, an inflatable archway and beach style props. The event build included a 6-meter stage, two festival stretch tents, deck chairs, picnic benches and crowd barriers to secure stage and service perimeters. Lighting included full venue festoon strips, a lighting tower for night-time and state of the art stage system. Full AV requirements were provided and a fully functioning bar was supplied, complete with catering and grounds support staff. Fusion events managed all safety compliance through close collaboration with the client.
