Large Multinational – Anniversary Event

The Brief

Our Client, a large multinational with in excess of 6000 employees across Ireland, wished to celebrate a milestone anniversary, occurring in summer, at its main site. The Client’s biggest challenge was to engage a large attendance – 3000+ guests – with a diverse profile, across three shift periods. The Client’s large-scale events have traditionally had low attendance so the objective was to secure site wide turnout with an appealing and varied experience.

The Approach

We suggested an informal festival theme to the client to tie in with the season and location facilities. Communications, access and billing would be critical attendance drivers so we implemented a pre-event communications campaign including activations and incentives to inform employees and encourage attendance. Event security and safety was of paramount importance so we actively engaged with site lead. A smooth flow plan was created to ensure the efficient and safe movement of guests throughout the event space. Collaborating with the Client’s Global Communications Team, we ensured compliance with brand guidelines on all event décor and dress, which included signage, display and installations. Entertainment centred on a “decades” theme with gaming rooms from the 80’s arcade to present day VR. Musical entertainment included a full day’s live line up on a main stage with local and charting artist. Full on site production, AV and logistics with a team of over 40 event staff pulled the event together pre, during and post event.

The Results

The Client was very pleased with the event outcome. Maximum attendance with many guests attending outside their work hours was a testament to the overall production and delivery of the event. Evaluation feedback was extremely positive and we continue to work with the client on a broad range of events and activations.

We needed an event to engage diverse staff across many disciplines, which complied with our global guidelines. Fusion Events delivered on all key touchpoints, they immersed themselves into our teams for maximum efficiency and the event could not have went better.
